Ghosting Is A Crime

I have officially had it with people dissappearing on me with no explanation. I don’t care what the reason is. A simple “Hey, sorry, can’t” will suffice but unless your phone is dead or damaged or you are, you have no excuse for not frickin’ sending a text or picking up the phone.

Seriously, grow up.

It’s completely immature to keep someone hanging with no excuse.

I get it. Life happens. But how many times?

If you cared, if you had any amount of respect or basic human decency, a simple “Hey, sorry, can’t” would be the minimum.

And no, I don’t expect people to be glued to their phones and answer at my beck and call but for fuck’s sake, if you said “hey, I’ll meet you at X time at Y place” and I make the effort of clearing my day for you, the least I expect is an explanation.

I don’t care what it is. But give me one.

Something— anything —is better than nothing.

And no, this isn’t too much to ask. Because sure, I haven’t been able to make every single frickin’ date and hangout and class and job shift and appointment at the exact time always or sometimes I miss it altogether but I communicate. I say something as soon as I can.

So what’s wrong with you?

Obviously, you’ve got some deficiency if you think it’s okay to keep the people who care about you hanging.
