Around 8PM yesterday, I reached 25 views.
My highest viewing count in days past had been 30.
Six more, six more… I mentally chanted on repeat for half the night.
I just wanted to pass 30. I just wanted 31.
Maybe I wanted it enough, maybe it was just luck – I don’t know… But I fell asleep, and at some 1AM this morning, I woke up and I checked the count for yesterday.
And it was 61.
30 more than I had originally hoped for.
I could not be happier.
It’s days like these I know I made the right choice not pursuing STEM like my parents wanted and the world expected. Because I love it all, I really do…
But I am in love with writing!
When it comes to people… my heart can’t make up it’s mind.
But when it comes to writing – I know this it what I’m meant to do, hundred percent, no doubt about it.
