Mundanity

Boredom.

It creeps up on you.

Mundanity,

The other day, one of my friends and I had a phone call. It lasted probably ten to fifteen minutes when usually we would’ve talked for hours. But I had nothing left to say.

We moved to a new place. Things are going good with the boyfriend. No new adventures.

He laughed, told me so many people wish for a life like this. A life that’s just still. Normal. Casual. Boring.

Ironic.

I used to do that. Drama is inevitable and all I would wish for is a little peace and quiet and normality.

The beginnings of summers usually offer it. But then, there’s nothing left to say. Well, nothing crazy profound. The little things like what I had for my three meals of if I took walk to the park are enough for SMS chains and my journal. But not to fuel this blog.

That’s why I haven’t been writing as much. It just hit me about three hours ago.

And now that it’s hit, let the writing begin.
