Surprisingly, the person who opened my eyes to a reality I didn’t consider was someone I barely knew before. He’s quiet, pensive, observing. I should’ve known.
To be honest, he reminds me of me.
Yes, sometimes I talk a lot. And sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I just listen. And sometimes we hear things no one else does.
It was good to hear from someone from the other side that my emotions and actions were valid.
And he told me something that I suppose we all inherently know but never admit.

I realize that not every person can be direct. Still, I wish everyone were.
Sometimes I wonder, wouldn’t life be easier and the world calmer if people just spoke their mind.
I’d rather someone stop me from doing something they hate then watching as I do it and hating me after.
Okay, and maybe she doesn’t hate me.
“Hate” is strong.
I don’t think we hate each other.
I don’t think any of us ever hated each other.
I think life happens.
And I think we don’t spend enough time thinking about where the other person is.
Because we’re self-absorbed. Each and every single one of us.
We don’t think before we tell someone we love their significant other.
We don’t think before we ignore that the person on the other side loved our significant other first.
We don’t think before we decide that someone’s trying to steal our best friend.
We don’t think before we feel left out because we will always come second to the best friend.
We don’t think before we know what the other person is really thinking.
Actually, that brings me to another point I want to make tonight. It’s come to my attention more than once that some people have an issue with me writing this blog. And I need to make it clear tonight and forever – these are my emotions, my subconcious, my thoughts. And I will not censor myself. Just as much, I don’t write it out of spite either.
I’ll say it once and it’s up to you: Read the whole damn thing before making judgements. And if you stilk think I’m targetting you, I hate you, I’m bitching about you, I’m ruining your reputation, or whatever else it is, then ask me. Because it not fair to you or to me for you to make up your mind before knowing all the facts. Especially, when I put all my efforts into trying to understand you.
It’s not fair for you to run away without giving me explanation thinking I’m not owed one.
It’s not fair for you to be upset with me for being straightforward and honest just because you never could be.
I would rather hear “I hate you because…” than have you pretend you love me and dissappear.
Whether you’re the girl that stole the person I loved. Or I am.
Because did you ever think that maybe I was hurting too? And that if you talked to me, I would’ve listened.
